Southwest monsoon, ICZ to bring rains Monday

MANILA, Philippines–The southwest monsoon affecting northern Luzon and the Intertropical Convergence Zone affecting southern Mindanao will bring rains to the country on Monday, the weather bureau said.

In its early-morning weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience occasional rains while Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
