CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines—A tourist went missing after a white-water rafting accident in Cagayan River here on Friday and efforts transitioned from search and rescue to search and recovery on Saturday.

Chisum Factura, of the firm Kagay Journey-White Water Rafting and Kayaking, said it had already been more than a day when 26-year-old nurse Aizza Mae C. Balbin of Loboc town, Bohol province, disappeared.

The raft carrying Balbin and four others capsized. Dozens of rescue team members are now scouring the river for signs of Balbin. JB R. Deveza, Inquirer Mindanao
