Today, June 13, is the 118th birth anniversary of the late National Scientist Casimiro del Rosario. Known as the “Dean of Filipino Physicists,” he was acclaimed for his pioneering work in physics, meteorology and astronomy. He was conferred the National Scientist Award in 1982, five months before his death on Sept. 15, 1982. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
