Revilla turns emotional in Senate speech

MANILA, Philippines  –  Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. turned emotional when  he delivered  a privilege  speech  on  Monday, thanking  his  colleagues one by one, and  addressing  Senator  Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada as “kosa.”

Both   Revilla and Estrada, along with Senator Juan Ponce-Enrile and other  individuals have been charged with plunder at the  Sandiganbayan in connection with the “pork barrel” scam.

“Senator Estrada,  kosa …’  Revilla said.

“Pare hindi ito ang katapusan  natin. God is just preparing  us for something better,”  he said.
