PRO-FRIENDS maintains participation in Brigada Eskwela

MANILA, Philippines – Property Company of Friends, Inc. (PRO-FRIENDS) continues its support to the government-initiated “Brigada Eskwela” by donating materials to the annual “school maintenance week” project.

PRO-FRIENDS’ adopted school, the Canitoan Elementary School in Cagayan de Oro, Mindanao will benefit from the donations made by the company.

Construction materials, clinic necessities, and other vital school facilities like a two-burner stove, kitchen utensils, sewing machine and kits, and water pump with enclosure were among the donations supplied by the company.

But aside from the materials, PRO-FRIENDS was also very hands-on in extending help to its adopted school. Volunteers from the company participated in cleaning and repainting the classrooms of their chosen beneficiary.

During Brigada Eskwela’s program, PRO-FRIENDS Senior Vice President Manuel Crisostomo said, “Our vision is creating communities and transforming lives. And we feel that the best way to transform lives is through our advocacy which is education. That is why, PRO-FRIENDS has always been active in activities relating to education.”

As of date, over 900 students are enrolled in the school with 22 educators on board.

PRO-FRIENDS has been an active participant of the Brigada Eskwela. Over the years, it has helped a total of three schools, one in Iloilo, one in Cavite, and one in Cagayan de Oro.
