MANILA, Philippines—The operations of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) were back to normal Wednesday evening after it suspended trips due to a technical problem, Radyo Inquirer 990AM reported.
The report said a voltage drop occurred at the Araneta Center Cubao station in Quezon City, forcing a temporary halt of its service.

The operations of the MRT 3, which runs the stretch of the Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) from North Avenue in Quezon City to Taft Avenue in Pasay City, have been in constant service disruption since early this year due to technical malfunctions.
The MRT-3 has been a source of aggravation for commuters and has drawn fierce criticisms from riders for the long queues at its stations during rush hour and for several operational glitches.
