Quake hits Davao Oriental

MANILA, Philippines-A magnitude-4.9 earthquake shook Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a tectonic quake hit 85 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso with a depth of 67 kilometers.

Governor Generoso City experienced an Intensity III jolt while General Santos experienced Intensity II.

Phivolcs added that it does not expect any aftershocks or infrastructure damage.
