Warning on fake text out
MANILA, Philippines–Beware of text messages congratulating you for winning a raffle sponsored by President Aquino and the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The DSWD on Monday denied having such a promo announced in a text message sent by a Lyka Ramirez using mobile number 0926-9124816.
The text reads: “Congratulations, from President Noy-Noy Aquino Foundation 4Ps Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. Your sim No. won P950,000 as second prize winner in the Handog Pangkabuhayan raffle promo per DTI Permit No. 9513, series of 2013. Please call me now, I am Lyka Ramirez.”
The DSWD urged the public to immediately report their receipt of the message to the nearest DSWD office or through text to the Pantawid Pamilya Grievance Text Hotline 0918-9122813.–Cynthia D. Balana
