MANILA, Philippines—A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental early Monday, June 2.
The quake’s epicenter was 269 southeast of Sarangani with a depth of 16 kilometers, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The tectonic quake was recorded 3:01 a.m.
Aftershocks are expected from the tremor, while no immediate damage was recorded.
