Suspected thief slain

A man was killed on Saturday by a security guard when he and his four companions allegedly tried to rob an appliance store in Dagupan City, police said. Supt. Christopher Abrahano, city police director, said the man was shot dead at 12:40 p.m. by a security guard whom the suspects failed to disarm.
