TEHRAN, Iran—Iran’s official news agency says authorities have executed a prisoner linked to the opposition Mujahedeen-e-Khalq (MEK) group.

The IRNA report on Sunday said Gholamreza Khosravi was sentenced to death in 2010 for providing photos of the country’s military facilities and financial aid to the MEK, and for helping to recruit for the group.

It said Khosravi was arrested in 1997, after having been previously detained from 1981 to 1986.
