Shooting probe welcomed

Residents of a disputed property in Caloocan City welcomed a congressional probe proposed by militant lawmakers into alleged unwarranted shooting incidents in the area. Araneta III’s CDI won ownership of the disputed property in February this year, when the Supreme Court declared as unconstitutional Presidential Decree No. 923, which granted some 2,000 families ownership of the land in 1974. Kristine Felisse Mangunay
