MANILA, Philippines – Protesting the alleged “circus” in government over the pork barrel scam, protesters held a naked rally at the Senate Monday calling for a stop to the investigations of lawmakers and a start of court proceedings.

“In light of the present hearing and investigation on the ongoing Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) issues, we the Katipunan Kontra Korapsyon (KKK) want to call to stop this madness and circus in the Halls of Congress,” the group said in a statement.

Several members of the group shed their clothes to symbolize their call that the naked truth be revealed and for the “zarzuela” (drama) in congress be stopped.
