Truck accident in northwestern China kills 10, injures 32

BEIJING, China— Two trucks collided Sunday in northwestern China, killing 10 people and injuring 32, state media said.

A large truck hit a smaller one carrying 41 workers while trying to passing it on a highway in the city of Wujiaqu in the Xinjiang region, the Xinhua News Agency reported. Both vehicles flipped and fell 1.5 meters (almost 5 feet) into a ditch.

Six of the injured were in serious condition, Xinhua said.
