MANILA, Philippines — Burglars broke into a government agency in Quezon City over the weekend, carting away cash and valuables.
The Laguna Lake Development Authority lost cash and a laptop following the break-in at its office along North Avenue.
The case investigator, Police Officer 3 Teotimo Daguman, said the burglary happened at the LLDA office at the Sugar Regulatory Administration compound.
In particular, the LLDA’s Office and Community Development Office lost P11,000 cash and a Lenovo laptop to still unidentified burglars.
The break-in happened at around 3:50 a.m. Sunday, during which the burglars broke the glass window of a bathroom to enter the office.
Roving security guards discovered the burglary upon day break, police added.
