MANILA, Philippines—Most road accidents in Metro Manila in 2013 occurred in the daytime. According to the latest data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, 62.26 percent or around 53,897 accidents happened between 6 a.m. and 5:55 p.m., while 37.74 percent or 32,668 accidents happened from 6 p.m. to 5:55 a.m.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
