MANILA,Philippines—A detention cell at the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City is ready to accommodate high-profile detainees, police said Friday.

Speaking to reporters, Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac, PNP spokesman, said the PNP custodial center was ready to accommodate these people in case the court issues an order.

“Just in case there is a court order that we take in high-profile detainees, the detention facility is there. It has always been there,” Sindac said.

“It depends on the order of the court. There is no particular personality we are referring to. We are fixing and cleaning the detention cell just in case there are developments or court order to take [into] custody of high-profile detainees,” he said.
