More than 70,000 openings in DOLE’s job fairs

MANILA, Philippines—With no wage hike to expect, the workforce will just have to make do with job fairs.

In a statement on Thursday, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said it has opened 68 job fairs nationwide.

Metro Manila will host the country’s biggest job fair in the country, with 17 venues confirmed across the country’s capital, it added.

The fairs will offer 77,000 job vacancies, with 9,994 for police officers, and at least 9,000 for jobs under the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
