MANILA, Philippines—Alfredo F. Rosario Jr., son of veteran newspaper editor and columnist Fred Rosario, died on Saturday at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City. He was 60.
His body lies at the Loyola Memorial Chapel on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City. Interment is set for May 3 at the Loyola Cemetery in Marikina City.
Alfredo Jr. suffered a stroke on March 31 and was treated for almost a month at the St. Luke’s NeuroCritical Care Unit. He suffered complications in his lungs and abdomen which contributed to kidney failure.
He is survived by his father, Fred Rosario; children Alfredo III and Leilanie; granddaughter Breanna; and siblings Demosthenes, Hercules, Crisostomo, Maria Jacinta Gille, Esperanza Latinazo, Priscilla Bechet and Luz Devries.
