Motorcycle-riding gunmen killed two men near their homes in separate attacks Tuesday in Quezon City.
The killings happened about 12 hours apart and targeted Brendo Justicia, 44, a carpenter and resident of BF Road in Barangay Holy Spirit; and Rodolfo Dollente Jr., a 43-year-old vendor from Basa Street, Barangay Paltok, San Francisco del Monte.
Reports reaching the Quezon City Police District-Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU), said Justicia was walking to work around 7:30 a.m. along BF Road when two men on a motorbike blocked his path and shot him several times.
Neighbors brought Justicia to East Avenue Medical Center, where he died around 10:30 p.m.
Around 7 p.m. the same day, Dollente Jr. was gunned down in front of his neighbor’s house on Basa Street.
PO2 Louie Serbito of the QCPD-CIDU said that Dollente was on his motorbike and preparing to leave when two men, also on a motorcycle, drove past and started shooting.
