MANILA, Philippines—The Taguig Regional Trial Court entered a plea of not guilty for Cedric Lee and Simeon “Zimmer” Palma Raz Jr. to the serious illegal detention case in connection with the mauling of comedian/TV host Vhong Navarro.

During Wednesday’s arraignment, both Lee and Raz both declined to enter a plea.

After the arraignment, the Taguig Court has set pre-trial on May 6 as well as hearing on Lee and Raz’ motion for continuous detention at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

The two were arrested last Saturday in a remote area of Oras, Eastern Samar.

The two insisted that they were not arrested but surrendered to members of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
