UST still Bar venue for 2014
MANILA, Philippines–The Supreme Court has approved the negotiation between its Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC) and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) to use the latter’s campus again as the venue for the 2014 Bar examination.
In a resolution received by the OBC last April 25 but made public Tuesday, the high court said it approved the “negotiation by the Bar Confidant with the UST for the use of the latter’s campus and facilities for the subject Bar Examinations.”
Since 2011, UST has been the venue of the Bar examination. Prior to that, it would be held at the De La Salle University in Taft Avenue.
The high court also announced that the acceptance of the applications to take the 2014 Bar Examinations by the OBC will start on June 1, 2014 and end on July 15 without any extension.
Bar exam this year will be conducted on Octobers 5, 12, 19 and 26.
