MANILA, Philippines—A dead man believed to be a victim of summary execution was found in Quezon City Saturday morning, a radio report said.
The report said the still-unidentified body was recovered in a canal at Sta. Lucia Street in Barangay (village) Greater Lagro.
The body was found inside a garbage bag with a note that said “bakla killer”. “Bakla” is colloquial term for a homosexual or gay male.
The report added that the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) of the Quezon City is now conducting an investigation.
On Friday, another victim of alleged summary execution was found dead in Barangay (village) UP campus in Quezon City.
