The Filipino Inventors’ Society Producers Cooperative (FISPC) recently elected new officers during a general assembly held at the FISPC Inventrepreneurs Showroom and Business Center at Delta Building, West Avenue, Quezon City.
Among the newly elected board directors are inventors Popoy Oral Pagayon, Rolly “Lakay” Gonzalo, Mike Hortaleza, Ed Evangelista, Andy Reyes, Dennis Alvarez, Dennis Abella, Mhing Modanza and Dinky Hemantera.
According to Pagayon, the cooperative was established to serve as the business arm of the Filipino Inventors’ Society, with the showroom in Quezon City promoting the best Filipino inventions and introducing them into the market.
The showroom houses various innovative products related to fuel and energy conservation, environmental protection, water purification, alternative medicine, personal care and recreation, police patrol weaponry, car care, home protection, agriculture, food and health. “It showcases the Filipino genius (behind products) that could not be found elsewhere,” Pagayon noted.
The items on display also include solar-powered postharvest facilities and converters, computerized anticar theft systems, Anos fire trucks that are designed for narrow streets, fire blankets, water-fueled flashlights, green engine oil products, antifungal soaps and organic medicines, among others.
