MANILA, Philippines—Spending the Holy Week away from home? Don’t do a selfie while on the road and post your travel photos on Facebook.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) warned the public that posting of travel photos during the Lenten season may give the “Akyat Bahay” gang members an idea whose houses are easier to rob.

The police particularly warned netizens of stalkers on Facebook who may be from the gang, Inquirer Radio 990AM reported on Friday.

For the Holy Week, the PNP placed all its units in the country under heightened alert to ensure the safety of the public.

PNP Highway Patrol Group Superintendent Elizabeth Velasquez ALSO said the PNP has started to install police booth at the North Luzon Expressway and at the South Luzon Expressway for motorists’ assistance.
