Heard on Inquirer Radio 990AM: Meralco on power rate increase

The power rate increase is due to the increment in the generation charge. I want to make it clear that this additional charge is from power producers. Meralco won’t implement any increase in distribution charges.—Meralco spokesman Joe Zaldarriaga
