2 arrested for supplying QC night clubs with Ecstasy tablets
MANILA, Philippines — Two men believed to be supplying Ecstasy to patrons of clubs and night spots were arrested over the weekend in Quezon City.
Sittie Bacolod, 30, of Barangay (village) San Vicente and Carlo Eleseo Ledesma, 30, of Pasig City were collared with a sachet full of Ecstasy tablets in their possession.
Senior Inspector Roberto Razon, head of the Quezon City Police District’s Anti Illegal Drugs unit, said his men nabbed the two outside a condominium on Boni Serrano Avenue in Barangay West Crame on Saturday night.
Bacolod and Ledesma are suspected of distributing the illegal drug to patrons of night spots in Quezon City.
“They are believed to be one of many distributors of Ecstasy to party-goers of clubs,” Razon said in an interview.
Seized from the suspects’ possession were 20 round, blue tablets of Ecstasy inside a plastic sachet, and boodle money worth P20,000.
