Fire hits Cagayan capitol grounds

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines—Fire gutted a two-story building within the Cagayan provincial capitol grounds on Friday night.

Retired Col. Ernesto Dulin, Cagayan province’s chief security officer, said the four-hour blaze destroyed the Kammaranan Building, which houses at least nine provincial offices.

The fire also destroyed the provincial agriculture, human resources management, and provincial veterinary offices.
