Telecommunications giant Smart Communications has come to the aid of a rural primary school near Sta. Cruz town, Laguna province, after it partnered with the school’s alumni to provide advanced information technology (IT) equipment for the use of students and teachers.

In recent ceremonies, the alumni association of Ananias Laico Memorial Elementary School-Magdalena Elementary School (ALMES-MES) announced that Smart had committed to establish an IT hub for the school.

The association has also launched a search for the ten outstanding alumni of ALMES, formerly MES.
