MANILA, Philippines – Motorists should brace themselves for more traffic this weekend as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) would resume its road reblocking and road repair projects along Edsa, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Thursday.
In its official Twitter account, MMDA said the projects would start on Friday, April 4, until next week Monday, April 7, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Along Edsa between Roosevelt Avenue and East Lawin (fourth lane, southbound), Quezon City
- Along Edsa between Guadalupe Bridge and Ayala Avenue (first lane, southbound), Makati City
- Along Edsa between Reliance and Ortigas Avenue (first lane of Shaw boulevard tunnel, northbound)
- Along Edsa between Santolan and Ortigas Avenue (fifth lane from Santolan approaching Ortigas Flyover and on first lane of service road of Ortigas flyover, southbound)
- Along Edsa between New York street and Monte de Piedad (first lane, southbound), Quezon City
Besides Edsa, there will also be a road reblocking and repair project along Balete Drive between Aurora boulevard and Campanilla (1st lane) in Quezon City, MMDA said.
