PNP lauds dauntless lady cops

MANILA, Philippines–The Philippine National Police (PNP) presented to the media and honored Wednesday the four lady cops ‎who dauntlessly engaged in a shootout the suspects March 30’s Mall of Asia jewelry heist.

The four policewomen, all Police Officers 1, Juliet Macabadbad, Delia Langpawen, Marcelina Bantiag, and Maricel Rueco, were presented by National Capital Region Police Office chief Police Director Carmelo Valmoria.

Valmoria lauded the female cops for their fine police service “despite [their] young age.”

Also given recognition were seven elements of the Pasay City Police Special Reaction Unit, who also responded to the robbery incident.

Police said Macabadbad, Langpawen, Bantiag and Rueco will formally receive awards and commendations on Monday, April 7.
