Personal grudge
Police authorities said the killing of Kabuntalan town’s police chief, Inspector Tiongan Namla, could have been triggered by personal grudge.
Senior Supt. Rodelio Jocson, Maguindanao police chief, did not elaborate but said investigation was still ongoing.
Namla was driving his motorcycle for Cotabato City when unidentified men on a pick-up truck, which was tailing him on a section of the highway in Datu Odin Sinsuat town, fired rifles and handguns at him past 5 p.m. on Friday. He died on the spot. Edwin Fernandez, Inquirer Mindanao

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos) is implementing its first online processing of Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), officials said on Wednesday.
