Man killed in Balamban bike chase
A 28-YEAR-OLD man was killed while his 17-year-old companion was injured after they were shot by unidentified gunmen in barangay Buanoy, Balamban town, Cebu.
Police identified the fatality as Jesierey Baba Rodriguez, a resident of the barangay. The victim suffered gunshot wounds in the neck and chest. Rodriguez was declared dead when the two victims were brought to the hospital.
Rodriguez’s companion, meanwhile, remains in critical condition in a Cebu City hospital after sustaining two gunshot wounds in the abdomen.
Police said some residents saw the victims aboard a motorcycle driven by Rodriguez being chased and shot at by two men on board another motorcycle.
