MANILA, Philippines—Tropical Depression “Caloy” has weakened into a low pressure area after making landfall on Surigao del Sur, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 5 p.m. bulletin that all storms signals have been lifted in the 15 provinces where public storm Signal No. 1 were previously hoisted.
Pagasa, however said, Eastern Visayas and Caraga will continue to have cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
