Magnitude 4.5 earthquake rocks parts of Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines— A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Agusan del Sur in Mindanao Friday afternoon, the Philippine Volcanology and seismology (Phivolcs) said.

Phivolcs, in its earthquake bulletin, said the earthquake which struck at 3:31 P.M. had an epicenter located 11 kilometers southwest of Talacogon town.  It had a depth of 70 kilometers.
Philvocs added Intensity IV was felt in Talacogon town; Intensity III in San Francisco, Agusan Del Sur; Rosario, Agusan Del Sur; Intensity II in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon; Bayugan City, Agusan Del Sur; Guingoog City, Misamis Oriental; and Intensity I in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon; Mambajao, Camiguin.
It added that no aftershocks were expected and no damages were also recorded.
