Bomb threats disrupt classes in San Beda-Rizal campus
MANILA, Philippines–Classes and work in the San Beda College-Rizal campus in Taytay were suspended Friday morning due to bomb threats received earlier from a caller.
An administration staff of SBC Rizal, who requested anonymity, told INQUIRER.net over the phone that a person had called the trunk line of the school twice and voiced the threats. Both calls were received by the school’s security guards.
The school administration refused to give details of the threats.
The threats were taken seriously as the school management suspended classes and work as of 6 a.m.
The administration staff that INQUIRER.net talked to said that “the situation in the campus is under control.”
The Taytay police were searching the school grounds for any bomb, according to the administrative staffer, who wanted to remain unidentified.
