MANILA, Philippines—Daytime temperatures will be warmer in the days ahead in a prelude to summer, according to the weather bureau.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) predicted sunny weather over the weekend, with the northeast monsoon remaining the dominant weather system in Luzon and the Visayas.
But these northeasterly surface winds will continue to spawn isolated light rains over the eastern sections of Luzon, it said in an advisory.
“Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather conditions with partly cloudy skies and chances of some isolated passing light rains,” Pagasa said.
Good weather is also expected tomorrow and Monday, except for some isolated light rains over the eastern section, it said in its weekly outlook.
Mindanao, on the other hand, will continue to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with afternoon or evening rain showers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
