CAVITE, Philippines—Four persons were killed after the car they were riding in rammed into and was pinned under a truck in Dasmariñas City on Friday.
As of 11 a.m. on Friday, the wreckage of the car driven by Joan Toledo, a resident of Dasmariñas, was still being pulled out of the truck, Supt. Carlos Barde, city police chief, said in a phone interview.
Toledo and the three passengers in the car—Lowie Alcaraz from Noveleta town, Rogelio Santos Jr. from Imus City and Armando San Pedro III from Tagaytay City—died on the spot.
“The victims’ faces cannot be easily identified anymore,” said Barde. The truck driver has turned himself in to authorities. Maricar Cinco, Inquirer Southern Luzon
