PANGASINAN, Philippines—A lineman of an electric power firm was shot and killed by two men in San Carlos City on Wednesday, police said.
Supt. Rodolfo Castro, San Carlos City police chief, said Wilfredo Palisoc, 45, a lineman of Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (Cenpelco), was shot dead at 8:45 a.m. while driving the company’s utility vehicle in Barangay Tarece in San Carlos.
Castro said in a radio interview that Palisoc and two other Cenpelco linemen were on their way to Mangaldan town when two men riding a motorcycle drove along the right side of their vehicle and fired at Palisoc. Gabriel Cardinoza, Inquirer Northern Luzon
