Did you know: Araneta Coliseum

Araneta Coliseum was inaugurated on March 16, 1960. Located at Cubao, Quezon City, it occupies a total land area of almost 4 hectares while its construction lasted around three years. Its inaugural presentation was the fight of Gabriel “Flash” Elorde against Harold Gomes for the World Junior Lightweight crown.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
