Possible rainshowers on a cool Thursday—Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines—Summer may be looming, but  rainclouds will hover over the country on Thursday.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather bulletin issued at 5 a.m. Thursday, the northeast monsoon will still affect Luzon bringing cool breeze and possible rains.

Visayas, Northern Mindanao and the regions of Bicol, Mimaropa and Caraga will have cloudy skies over their heads that may bring light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the day.

Mindanao will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies that may bring isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Pagasa said that moderate to strong winds from the east to northeast will prevail over eastern Philippines, generating moderate to rough waves in the area.
