Mary Amelie’s mother, Alice Mary Jane, is worried because the tumor keeps on growing despite her having undergone 10 cycles of chemotherapy with four more remaining.

“I’m getting scared because she’s too small to be undergoing a third operation though the doctors told me to just pray. If that’s the only way to save her, we can only hope for the best,” she said.

According to her, attending doctors at Philippine Children’s Medical Center have told her she would be needing P200,000 for the operation on her child, the chemotherapy sessions and a CT scan.

The sole breadwinner in the family is her husband, Rommel, who is a construction worker.

Alice Mary Jane can be reached at 0906-5024138. For those who want to donate, please deposit the money in Rommel Hidalgo’s RCBC bank account (No. 1190444240).
