Children’s Paradise Montessori plants trees

THE Children’s Paradise Montesorri School joined the national greening program during their Family Day and tree planting activity last Aug. 20.

In partnership with the Metropolitan Cebu Water District, the Montessorians planted 170 seedlings at Tabor Hill of the Order of the Discalced Augustinians in Talamban, Cebu City.

As part of the school’s Information, Education and Communication campaign, the students listened to the talk on “Why trees are valuable and important” and the Department of Education’s “Campaign to observe water conservation” by Charmaine Rodriguez, MCWD public affairs head.

The national greening program encourages all students and government employees to plant at least ten seedlings per year in the planting sites.

Awarded as Montessori School of the Year, Children’s Paradise Montessori School believes in the potential of every child.

The school provides equal opportunities to children with special needs through life’s skills program and scholarship.
