MANILA, Philippines—The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) will begin accepting on March 18 nominations to and applications for the seat in the Supreme Court to be vacated by Justice Roberto Abad who is retiring on May 22.
The JBC ex-oficio secretary and Supreme Court clerk of court Enriqueta Vidal said Friday applications and nominations, may be submitted to the JBC Secretariat by mail, fax or e-mail.
Applicants and nominees must also submit their personal data sheet and their application or acceptance letters—all of which may be downloaded from the JBC website (https://jbc.judiciary.gov.ph/).
They are also given until April 2 to submit various documents such as transcript of law school records, bar admission certificate, medical exam results, clearances from the National Bureau of Investigation and Office of the Ombudsman, and Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth, among others.
