MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Appointments confirmed on Wednesday the appointments of Election Commissioners Luie Tito Guia and Al Parreno.
It was Senator Teofisto Guingona III, who sponsored on the floor the recommendation of the Commission’s committee on constitutional commissions and office, endorsing the appointments of the two officials.
No member of the Commission objected when separate motions to confirm their appointments were made on the floor.
