MANILA, Philippines—Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and the Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated light rains, the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa) morning bulletin, the northeast monsoon continued to prevail over Luzon and the Visayas.

Earlier last week, Pagasa told INQUIRER.net that the northeast monsoon, which brings cold weather, would dissipate in two or three weeks, signaling the start of summer.

Mindanao will also be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas, and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, according to Pagasa.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast, resulting in slight to  moderate seas.
