Graduate studies in Korea
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines is accepting applications for the 2014 Korean government graduate scholarship program. Deadline is March 28.
The program aims to promote international exchange in education, as well as mutual friendship among participating countries.

Graduate studies in Taiwan
The 2014 Taiwan Scholarship is accepting applications from Filipino graduate students, through the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (Teco) in the Philippines.

Article continues after this advertisementThe scholarship is offered to international students who wish to pursue further education, in line with the Republic of China’s goal to strengthen academic linkages across the globe. Five slots are available.
The program covers two years of study for those pursuing master’s degrees and three years for those in doctorate programs.
Each grantee will receive up to NT$40,000 (about $1,320) per semester to cover tuition and a monthly subsistence allowance of NT$20,000 (about $660) for expenses. Visit https://taiwanscholarship.moe.gov.tw/.

Development-related studies in NZ
The New Zealand Embassy is inviting Filipino students to apply for graduate development-related studies in New Zealand, through the New Zealand Asean Scholars (NZAS) program.
Last day for submission of applications is July 15.
NZAS is open to qualified candidates from the public, private and civil society sectors who want to pursue further studies in agriculture, tourism, governance, public sector, trade, development, disaster risk management, climate change adaptation and renewable energy.
A total of 18 scholarships are available to Filipinos. Study period begins in 2015.
Applicants will be selected on merit, including the development benefits of their proposed course of study. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate leadership qualities and potential for future leadership. Priority will also be given to applicants with high academic achievements, especially in the undergraduate level.
Scholarships are funded by the New Zealand Aid Program for graduate study.
