Campus teams vie in seasports

Adamson University Paddlers and Nippon Yusen Kaisha-Transnational Development Group Maritime Academy (NTMA) cadets are participating in dragon boat competitions in the 2014 Manila Bay Summer Seasports Festival on March 8-9.

The event is organized by  Manila Broadcasting Co. and the City of Manila, with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

Several schools have found dragon boat racing an excellent and fun fitness program for their students, which also emphasizes unity and teamwork.

The two school teams will be competing with the Philippine Air Force Rowers, Crimson Dragons, Amateur Paddlers Philippines, Rogue Pilipinas, Philippine Blue Phoenix, 1925 Paddlers Club, PCG, Triton, Onslaught Racing Dragons, Rowers Club Philippines, One Piece Drakon Sangress, Manila Ocean Park, PNP Maritime Group Patriots, Philippine Army,  Maharlika Dragon Boat Racers and Dragons Republic Paddlers Club.
