MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court has stopped implementation of Republic Act 10153 or the law synchronizing the elections of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao with the 2013 polls, a court official said.
It also issued a temporary restraining order against the government’s move to appoint an officer-in-charge, said lawyer Midas Marquez, a spokesman for the high court.
