2 bodies found near international school in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — Two bodies were found early Thursday near an international school in the plush Bonifacio Global City commercial district in Taguig.

Two dead females, one 30-year-old and a 6-year-old, were discovered by the authorities sprawled beside each other in a vacant lot near Treston International College along the southbound lane of C5 road.

Senior Superintendent Arthur Felix Asis, Taguig City Police chief, told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview that the police cannot confirm yet whether the victims were related.

Since the investigation was ongoing as of posting, Asis said the police still have no leads on the victims’ identities.

Police said the “decent-looking” victims may have been killed in the same area where they were found by passers-by around 6:20 a.m. Thursday.

Asis said one of the signs showing that the crime was committed on the vacant lot were rocks having traces of blood.

The elder victim wore a red shirt and a pair of denim pants while the child was wearing a violet shirt and a pair of blue jeans.

Based on their initial investigation, Asis said witnesses saw the victims late Wednesday talking to an unidentified man near the crime scene.

Meanwhile, the ocular investigation of Scene of the Crime Operatives caused a traffic buildup on the stretch of C5 near Market Market mall in Taguig until Katipunan, Quezon City area.
